Illustration Jorge Tapia / Sound Engineering Jorge Tapia / Text Mr. Nitetrotter - April 9, 2010A few winters ago Montreal's AIDS Wolf came and played our shoebox of a record store. Right after leaving Mixtapes the lead singer Chloe broke her leg in Chicago forcing them to play instrumental.
This was a head heavy show with the audience having a strong kinetic reaction to the dissonant punk vibes of AW. Lack of tonal center, hypnotic repetitive rhythyms, and eruptive homoerotic sexual energy made this an unforgettable show in East Moline.
